Foremost we see the cats as our family members. One should remember that breeding and display is something that you do not use your favorit for their whole life but just for a short period.

It is seldom that the best display cats are the best breeders ore give us the best kittens. Tomcats are often more ”Typy” than the female, and to find the perfect cat for both dispaly and breeding is very un-common. We will not have more than five cats and we have not reached this limit yet.

Siamese is social and demands love and attention. If you have too many cats you will not have the time to fulfill their needs and the risk for illness will become higher if you have more than six cats.

Too choose a god breeder:

First the cat must have a family history with no defects. We also whant to use sound an big cats, but the should be genderised, i.e one should be able to see if it is a male or female.

A large female often has a larger pelvis than a small female and it is easier for the large female to feed its kittens.

A large female is often not as sensitive as a small one. The cat also has to be generous, playful and  affectionate. We would like to visit the kittens and also look at the parents to be able to make an opinion how the little kitten is and to assess their temperament, if the parents are nice then their kittens will be nice.

When we choose a tomcat there are a few things we look at. He should be calm and have a family history where  the father, granfather and so on has  been calm cats with not so much "unwhanted" malebehavior.

We have seen to many uncastrated tomcats that get crazy on displays. We have even seen cats that have bitten their owners from nervousness and excitement over all female scents and scents from rivals, these cats will often kiss indoors, make allot of sound and defend its preserve all day long. The fact that we put a lot of effort into choosing a breeder we have not had these problems.Instead we have the worlds most wonderful tomcat.

The features I have explained above is what we believe is important in a good breeder. When we have found a cat that has all these features it is a bonus if the cat has personality, is a little bit  rowdy and stubborn, and when we come home meets us at the door with a miaow, happy that its master or mistress has come home, follows you as a shadow wherever you go and is curious about what you are doing. This is normal features for a Siamese so they are included in the price.

To have one or more cats like this in our family is happiness for us, give us allot and is good for our sole.
We only breed Siamese cats that has a family history of only Siamese cats.

How do we think that a Siamese should look like.
 This is our idea of the perfect cat.
It should be big and muscular but at the same time give the impression of flexibility and slenderness.

High-legged, elegant with a long tail. The head should have a harmonious triangle, with a distinct rounded top and the ears should be wide apart. The ears should have a proper size that fit with the rest of the body. The cat should not just be a pair of big ears with a long head, which we think that a lot of the cats on display have.

A nice roman profile is what we think is the best but also a straight profile can be nice. The eyes should be deep blue almond-eyed. We do not like the eyes to be too deep because this often gives us problems.

The fur should be short, tight to the body and have a light body color. Distinct contrast between body color and maskcolour Today the fur is often too dark on many Siamese cats. The maskcolors should also be correct. For example blue and lilac should have a clear and cold tone. Seal and Chocolate should be warm.

These are the features that we think a perfect Siamese should have and that is also what is mentioned in the race-standard. The sad thing is that this is not what seems to be the standard at all displays today. You can participate with a perfect cat and be beaten by a none perfect cat that has a long head and batears. Things like colors and harmony is loosing meaning.

We believe that it's important to protect the special features and colors that a Siamese has.
