About us |
We have been
breeding Siamese’s since 2001.
We are, my
self Monica and my husband Conny. For us
shows aren’t the most important thing. We want to have healthy cats with good
temper.

|
| We live in a little house
with 4 rooms and kitchen in Åkersberga Sweden. We like living in this
neighbourhood but would have liked having a bigger garden though both
Conny and I like gardening, but we do what we can on the little area we
have. |
|
|
| Both Conny and I have always loved animals and have brought home all kind of animals and of course wildcats that were immediately thrown out by both our parents. I managed to get my parents to keep a little kitten I brought home when a tabors cat had kittens. She was a snow white housecat and she made my parents to love cats. She had three litters before she was neutered |
| When
Conny and I got together he had a housecat. Sixten
von Skorpan! But
she was called just Skorpan. He also had two birds. One big Ara and one nymfparakit. Skorpan didn’t like the competition from me about the love in her family and she wanted to have Conny by her self. She was a combination from a housecat and a foreign white and maybe her very own stubborn behaviour came from the foreign white line. After 5 years she began to do her needs everywhere in the house and we asked the vet for advise. We were told that Skorpan was sick and we had to put her to sleep. |
|
| Conny liked reptiles and
soon we had snakes in our family. I was very afraid of them but learn
after a while to be in the same room the terrariums were. We ended up
with a lot of different animals and it was fun but 1994 Conny had been ill and I was working so we couldn’t manage the animals. I refused to have so much to do with the reptiles and Conny couldn’t anymore. we decided to sell the animals. |

1995
we moved to the house we live in to day and we started to discuss cats.
It was so empty without any animals at all and I wanted to have a cat. A
Birma. No,no,no, Conny said, Siamese I think we shall have. I didn’t know anything about this breed so we went around looking and I can just say. I FELL IN LOVE IMMEDIATELY!!! I was so enthusiastic about this breed now, because their character is really fantastic. Siamese’s are very social and affectionate cats. 1998 we found our first little girl at S*Saddharma. She was seal pointed and she charmed us really. Her name was S*Saddharma Rosina, but we called her Flingan. She gave us so much and was so special. At one years of age she got FIP and we had to put her to sleep. We were totally devastated and cried most of the time weeks after that. |
| It was Flingas breeder who got us interested in shows. He had decided and had arranged everything for us when we got her from him. We just had to be at the show he had decided with Flingan. At first I had a bit panic. We didn’t know anything about shows, but Michael were there and helped us through it and we had fun and went to more shows after that and we were introduced in the cat world. we learned a lot and met other Siamese people to discuss our wonderful breed with. |
| We
had our housecat who just before Flingan moved in chooses us as his new
family after his old had left him and moved to Finland. He looked so bad
at the time. So thin and in bad condition, but just wonderful. So
cuddly, so nice and cool and with a very big vocabulary and he showed us
that he really loved us so we went to the vet for vaccination and a big
check. He already was neutered, we also gave him the name Casper. Nothing could be wrong with him because soon our first little
Siamese would move in. Nothing was wrong with Casper and he stayed at our place and became a big, healthy male. He already was about 10 years old when he moved in the vet thought at the time we checked him. He took care about Flingan when she moved in and learned her all he could. |
|
| They
were best friends and he was very unhappy when she wasn’t with us any
more. Unfortunately Casper got Cancer and we had to put even him to sleep in January 2003. He has always taking care of all our Siamese’s and always taking everybody, animals and humans to his heart. He was a real wonderful cat and I have never met a housecat like him. |

After
Flingan died, we began to look for a new little Siamese female, but when we came to S*Jamboree's Siamese breeding, a little blue pointed boy jumped up in Connys knee purring and was so cuddly and cute so we couldn’t let him go to somebody else. We just had to have him. His name was Kazimir. He moved in with us in February 2000. He's purring a lot and is so cuddly and loving. He has a marvellous good temper and is very cool. He isn’t just a wonderful family cat, but also very beautiful. He has been to many shows and is now Europe Champion and won most of the shows we went to with him. He also became the best blue pointed of the year 2000 and 2001 witch were those two years we went to shows with him. He's our beloved prince and now a day he doesn’t have to go to shows no more. |
|
| When
we got Kazimir we wanted a female to start our breeding with. It wasn’t easy to find. We wanted a blue pointed girl with healthy, unusual lines where the mothers had easy to get birth and have been taking good care of their children and have had lots of milk. At Blue-Iam's we found X-ina. We could see both her parents and it made me happy to see that they had good colours witch also was important for me because I think that so many Siamese’s to day have lost the good colours. The pedigrees and the qualities I wanted, I had already checked and liked. X-ina were a very stubborn girl who wants everything her way. She also was very funny and gave us at least one laugh a day and very cuddly. She has got two litters and was just a wonderful mother and her kittens have become real beautiful adults. |

Three
cats we thought were enough, but one day a friend called me very
exciting and told me about a litter in Skåne at S*Fursten's with 8 girls in and very exciting lines behind.
She said that we couldn’t through this chans away. I went in on the breeder’s homepage and liked the cats and phoned Fursten's. They had 4 kittens left and I asked her about everything that is important when you'll choose a cat for breeding as I have told little about here before and it sounded good so she send me pictures of the kittens. When I saw the picture of Donna I felt that she's the one I wanted. Late one night she came to our house very lucky to come out of the transport box . She just purred and didn’t know how to do, so happy was she. |
| Casper
immediately took her to his heart among the cats, but the other two
weren’t as excited. In a few days they all were friends. Donna is a very curios cat and she loves everybody both cats and people. She had her first litter 2002 with our prince Kazimir. Three beautiful little girls. All seal pointed. Two of them are in breeding at their new owners place.Donna got 4 litters. |
|
In January
2003 Menja
was borne. She's our precious Kazimir's daughter. We absolutely wanted to
have a daughter from him and when our friend Caroline Bergelt Dream of Silk wanted to mate her female Nobella, a lilac
pointed girl with Kazimir we were very exciting and when Nobella got her
litter (5 babies) there were 2 girls. One of the girls was lilac pointed
and we decided that we just had to have her. Kazimir was about to be
neutered and this combination we really believed in and Kazimirs lines
with his outstanding temperament and everything else you whant to have in
your breeding just had to go on in our breeding and Nobella is a very good
breeding girl with big healthy litters and good lines. In April 2003 we brought Menja home. Daddy Kazimir immediately took her to his heart as if he new she was his daughter. Since then they have a special relationship those two.

In april 2008 Dixie was born at Bäckbykatten's. She's in a whay all our lines in one, with other lines put in. Her gran mother is our Donna and her gran father is a half brother to our Menja. Lines we love and want to move on with in our future breed. The temperament is outstanding. So even the personality and eye colour, among many other things. With Dixies father Fire and Ice First choice a new mix of lines put in, we think Dixie will give our future breed even more wonderfull siamesbabies to be real proud of, and many happie years for us to enjoy. |
